On September 18, CULTURED magazine marked the debut of CULTURED China with a celebration at The Blond in SoHo. The launch gathered leading figures from the art, fashion, and cultural worlds to highlight the magazine’s expansion into China.
The evening brought together designers, gallerists, curators, and cultural leaders, including Shirley Zhang, Gong Cheng, Lesley Zang, Prabal Gurung, Kim Shui, Rachel Uffner, and Silke Lindner. The event created a platform for dialogue between East and West, underscoring CULTURED’s commitment to fostering cross-cultural exchange.
A highlight of the night was a performance by Zhang Xiaoqing, whose set infused the gathering with energy and atmosphere. Guests also received the September issue of CULTURED China, signaling the magazine’s editorial ambitions and its intent to give visibility to Chinese and Asian perspectives in the global creative landscape.
The launch served as both a celebration and a statement—affirming the growing importance of Asian voices in contemporary culture and the expanding role of international platforms in amplifying them.
